Training

The way I primarily train my clients and myself is through an intensity based type of system.  Instead of doing exercises based off of a limited count of repetitions.  We take an exercise and do as many repetitions as we can in a certain amount of time.  In doing so, we have the choice to push ourselves harder through each set or slow down to get more out of the extension and contraction of our muscles during the action that is taking place.  But, depending on the the build and or goals of the client, the system is subject to change because everyone is different.

Mental Health

Although I do love to work hard, push my limits, and reach new heights.  I like to include a mental health aspect to the workouts I create for my clients.  Being stress free and in the right mind set contributes to ones all around health.  So, to help cope with the stress of life and working out itself.  I would set a day to meditate, hike, and stretch to slow down.  Doing this helps my clients reflect on what is going on, both in life and with the exercising.  This is where we begin to find strengths, weaknesses, and debunk what will be beneficial to my client in the coming future.
